This workshop will provide an in-depth study into exploring braid structures and analyzing hand movements of kumihimo braids. You'll learn how to vary and combine movements to create original braids. During the analysis and experimentation phase you will discover when and where you can create opportunities for adding embellishments during braiding. Next you will use the kit materials to design your class project using your own combinations of fusions and blends to make the class project as shown or a version using your own variations.
